Hello, I’m Dr. Justin P. Calhoun, D.C. and I’m thankful you are here. I decided to become a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) after getting relief from my migraines through a specific chiropractic technique known as the Gonstead Technique. Falling at age 2 1/2 on the front cement steps caused spinal subluxations in my neck. That accident also led to me getting migraines 2-3 times a week between 1-3 weeks out of the month by the time I was 5.
No medical doctor or testing could figure out what was wrong. I tried taking drugs, stopped consuming dairy (while growing up on a dairy farm), cut out soda and other sweets. Nothing was helping. After being adjusted by my Uncle, Dr. Lynn Calhoun, D.C., I found significant relief. After about three months of weekly care I was only getting a migraine once a month and continued to decrease in frequency with the more chiropractic care I was given.
By age 16, I decided I wanted to become a Doctor of Chiropractic and have a significant impact in the way people approach healthcare.
I started practicing in May of 1997 after graduating from New York Chiropractic College. I learned the Gonstead technique from seminars and additional studying, and continue to get adjusted every week which helps me have a higher level of quality of life. My prayer is that God sends people into my life that He can help through me.
My immediate family includes my wife Aimee, my daughter Melanie and my son Jacob. They continue to fill my life with love, strength and purpose.
I have seen thousands of people in my office that have had great success with chiropractic care. Unfortunately, many of them came in as a last resort with very little hope of getting better. Don’t wait and suffer! Please know I am here to build a relationship that will help you and your family improve your quality of life!

I have been a practice member for five years now. The journey began when I had some lower back issues. Dr. Calhoun treated me with several adjustments and now I am consistent with regular adjustments. I am now happily a part of Dr. Calhoun’s team, serving as the afternoon and Friday receptionist.
I am married to my handsome husband Bill, and have three beautiful girls and one son-in-law.

I originally started seeing Dr. Calhoun after a close family friend recommended him for my daughter who suffers from anxiety. I have seen many other chiropractors for myself over the years and had given up on getting help for a life-long struggle with a tethered spinal cord resulting in severe nerve and muscle damage. Eventually after seeing how Dr. Calhoun was helping my daughter, I decided to become a practice member myself! I have a daughter, Riley, from a previous marriage and my husband, Jared, and I got married in 2011 and had our son, Cooper, in 2015.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work? I enjoy taking my dog, Taco on a walk or just being with my family.

What do you love most about working here? I love that it is a Christian environment and that I get to work with like-minded individuals. It is also a huge plus to work for a chiropractor when you have back problems! Working with people who truly want to help others is so rewarding for me.
I started as a practice member in January of 2009 due to neck pain. I felt like I couldn’t hold up my head. After a few adjustments, I started to see improvements. I was hired by Dr. Calhoun in January of 2011 after the previous Chiropractic Assistant left. I am married with four adult children. My husband and two of my sons are practice members, as well as my sisters and brother-in-laws. We are all believers in the benefits of chiropractic.

I started getting chiropractic care from Dr. Calhoun as a practice member in 2010 and six months later – I started working in the office as a Chiropractic Assistant. Previous to finding Calhoun Chiropractic Wellness Center, I tried several different chiropractors with no results. I was finally able to receive relief from the care given to me by Dr. Calhoun which I am grateful for. Now my husband, son and daughter are all coming too.
What do you love most about working here? I love being a part of a team that helps and cares for as many people as we can.
I started as a practice member in March 2018 due to chronic, daily headaches and frequent migraines. At my first appointment Dr. Calhoun was able to tell me exactly why I had been suffering for years. Eight months later I started working in the office as a Chiropractic Assistant. I have received relief from pain because of getting regular adjustments and I have faith that I will continue to experience less frequent pain over time.
I have been married to my husband since 1999. We have five children that are my biggest blessing.
